Manager or footballer

One fictional football world, two careers. Run a football club as the manager, or live a footballer's life from the age of 13. Switch whenever you like: a retired player can go into management.

Manager career

A free football game for children aged 5 to 12, in the same football world as Trophora. Matches, quizzes, a player to look after and a team to run.

Public and private worlds

Join a public world with free seats, or start a private league for friends with an invite code. Be a player, a club manager or a national manager.

Divisions and the Champions Cup

Climb ten Divisions in 14-day seasons with promotion and relegation. Private-league champions meet in the monthly Champions Cup, with a live final.

Friendlies and spectating

Arrange live friendlies and watch other people's matches as they happen, or any result afterwards. Preset shouts and reactions only: there's no typed chat.

Trophora Fantasy

Pick a fantasy squad from the players in your own career, no account needed, or play Fantasy online against other people.

Is Trophora really free?

Yes. Every game mode is free to play, with no trial. Optional extras (coming soon) add cosmetics and online extras, never a stronger team. Nothing is on sale yet. Prices

Are there sponsors in Trophora?

Yes. Some stadium boards and competitions carry clearly labelled sponsor or partner names inside the game, like real football. Trophora Academy has no sponsors or ads at all.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Trophora is a browser football game: open play.trophora.com on a phone, tablet or computer and play. On iPhone and iPad you can add it to your Home Screen from Safari so it opens like an app. It is also on itch.io. On Android, download the app (APK) from this site; Google Play is coming soon. Can I play this football management game on my phone?

Yes, in beta. It needs a free Trophora account (ages 13 and up), with sign-in by an emailed link. Online guide

How do I keep my save safe?

Your career saves itself on your device. Export a backup file or code from the Menu, and signed-in players can turn on cloud save. Saving guide

Is Trophora a soccer manager game?

Yes. Football or soccer, it is the same game: a free soccer management game and soccer career game in your browser. It uses UK football words such as "match" and "kit".

Does Trophora use real clubs, players or leagues?

No. Every club, player, league and competition in Trophora is made up, and the game is not affiliated with any real club, league or player. Countries are real; everything in them is fictional.

What age is Trophora for?

Trophora is for ages 13 and up, and accounts are for ages 13 and up. Children aged 5 to 12 have their own free game, Trophora Academy, with no ads, no chat and no accounts.
